Pupil shines in Laine Theatre Arts audition!

Miss Renee Bull recently went for an audition in Laine Theatre Arts and blew them away by being offered a place. Laine Theatre Arts is one of the top dance collages in the whole UK and the name is known throughout the world.

All of us at the Louise Edwards School of Dance wish Renee all the best and will be greatly missed by all the staff and pupils.

SUMMER SCHOOL

SUMMER SCHOOL 2011- EVERYONE WELCOME!

From Monday 25th July - Saturday August 6th 2011 the Louise Edwards School of Dance will be holding its first 2 week SUMMER SCHOOL! Pupils will be able to participate and learn all styles of dance and performance including;*BALLET* *JAZZ* *HIP HOP* *TAP* *MUSICAL THEATRE**

Students will be taught by PROFESSIONAL teachers who have worked world-wide!

One week for £100 or two full weeks for just £180!

This is excellent value for a 2 week's intensive course. This is a great way to try new styles, build confidence and make new friends. Pupils do not need to be a member of the school to enrol.On Saturday 6th August pupils will be presenting a showcase of work in Swansea's Grand Theatre Arts Wing! All friends and family are welcome!

Tickets can be purchased from the Grand Theatre Box Office. Stay later for some entertainment, a small buffet and raffle!!
All that's needed is a £30.00 deposit to secure your place.

THE LOUISE EDWARDS SCHOOL OF DANCE SUMMER SCHOOL 2011.

The Louise Edwards School of dance are proud to announce that Bethany Rose Harrison who made it to the semi final of BBC1 Show “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE” will be holding a 1 day master class with the Louise Edwards School of Dance.

Biography

Ballet teacher and charity worker, Bethany Rose Harrison, 20, began dance at 13 after she was inspired by her sister.

She said becoming a dancer has been a difficult process, sometimes frustrating, but it is where she is meant to be, where she finally fits in.

Originally from Devon but now living in London, she teaches ballet for unprivileged children at the charity Whack.

Last year, Bethany Rose got to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent whilst in a group. She also has a link to last year’s winner of So You Think You Can Dance; Charlie Bruce, whom she shared a dorm with.
